Soy realizadora, fotógrafa y actriz.
Desde niña me apasionaron las historias y, al principio, me acerqué a ellas interpretando. A los 13 años subí por primera vez a un escenario y desde entonces he actuado en teatro, cine y TV (videobook).
Como actriz, te conviertes en el medio para contar las historias de los demás. Yo, poco a poco, me di cuenta de que lo que realmente me apasiona es contar las mías propias.
Así que estudié guión, realización y fotografía y empecé a crear y producir mis propios proyectos, iniciándome como directora con los cortometrajes «Los mundos de Matilda» (2011) y «La luz del Recuerdo» (2012).
En Madrid, dirigí durante 3 años un Certamen de cortometrajes.
Vi más de 1000 cortos y llegué a la conclusión de que una historia, más allá de que sea buena, mala, interesante o no, atrapa por su manera de contarla.
Y ¿qué pasa cuando escuchas o ves una buena historia? Disfrutas, a veces hay lágrimas, a veces risas; pero siempre hay emoción. Creo que las historias son un catalizador de emociones.
Por todo eso, cuando hago un vídeo o foto, más allá de mostrar una imagen, trato de darle personalidad, humanidad y sentido. Intento que no sólo sea una recopilación de información, sino que busco captar el alma del momento que se vivió.
Mi punto fuerte es la gente y conseguir mostrar lo mejor de cada uno.
La sensibilidad y el gusto por lo bonito y bien hecho.

I am a filmmaker, photographer and actress.
Since I was a child I felt passionate about stories, initially I approached them through interpretation. My first on stage performance was at the age of 13. Since then I have performed at theatre, and participated in film and television productions (videobook)
As an actress you become the means to tell somebody else’s stories. However I gradually realized that what I really love is to tell my own stories.
That is how I initiated my screenplay, film production and photography studies. I also started creating and producing my own projects, directing the short-films “Los mundos de Matilda” (2011) and “La luz del Recuerdo” (2012).
Whilst I was based in Madrid I spent three years directing a short-film contest.
Having watched more than 1.000 short-films I came to the conclusion that beyond a good or a bad story, whether interesting or not, what really captivates you it is the way in which the story is told.
And, what happens when you listen to or when you watch a good story? You enjoy yourself, sometimes through tears, sometimes through laughter; but there is always emotion. Í think stories are emotional catalysts.
Because of all of that, when I produce a film or I take a picture, rather than just showing an image, I try to build personality, humanity and sense into it. I try to avoid capturing solely information but rather the soul of that particular moment.
People and extracting the best of each individual are my strengths.
